"BOOK SALE PREVIEW & RECEPTION
The Friends of the Swampscott Public Library will have a preview night and reception to kick off the annual book sale on Friday, September 24th at 6:30pm at the library. Patrons may view the available books and purchase up to 10 books during the preview. There will be wine, light appetizers and delectable desserts. We will also have a raffle featuring a handmade glass vase by local artist Ellen Garvey. The charge for members of the Friends of the Library will be $5.00, non-members $7.50, but you can join that night. Tickets will be available at the library starting Tuesday, September 7th. The Book Sale will run specific days between Saturday, September 25th and Saturday, October 2nd:
