"Get your copy of the Sturgis Library's new cookbook, Simply Sturgis, Local and Fresh! The cookbook includes over 100 recipes featuring fresh ingredients that can be found locally at farmer's markets and specialty food shops. All recipes are from Sturgis Library supporters and local residents. The book was conceived, compiled, edited, and designed by members of the Sturgis Library Cookbook Committee: Elizabeth Payne, Bobbi Cox, Suzie Cummings, and Marilyn Fuller. The book features artwork by artists Robert Mesrop, Carol Lummas, Ted Theodores, Audrey Forge, and Kate Walls. Mary Blair Petiet wrote the foreword and seasonal chapter text, and Library Director Lucy Loomis wrote the introduction and contributed photographs.
Copies of the cookbook are available for $15.00 each. They are on sale now at the Sturgis Library and also at local merchants including Nirvana Coffee, Salon 6A and Spa, and Whistleberries in Barnstable Village, and at Claire Murray in Osterville.
