09.04.09: The Name Of The Game Is Fundraise

From The Friends of the Mashpee Public Library in Mashpee:

"The Friends of the Mashpee Public Library have established a fund-raising goal of $500,000. To meet this goal, the Friends are providing opportunities to support the new library by securing naming rights for various sections of the library. Giving Opportunities are designed to memorialize loved ones or to recognize individuals, families, organizations and charitable groups. Appropriate recognition will be acknowledged with an engraved plaque.

Following is a summary of several sections offered by the library as Giving Opportunities.

Major Giving Opportunities:
Children’s Library - $250,000
100-Seat Events and Community Room - $100,000
Giving Opportunities - $25,000 to $50,000
Audio-Visual Collection - $50,000
Browsing New Books Area - $50,000
Conference Room - Taken by Gloria Selander
Circulation Desk Area - Taken by Roche Bros. Supermarkets
Young Adult Area - $25,000
Native People’s Collection - $25,000

Donations may be made in full or through a pledge with payments made over a two to three year period or with the donation of stocks and bonds. We are a 501.c.3 non-profit corporation.
