"Holiday Mini-Fair Dec. 5th
Twenty non-profit organizations serving Acton will offer a wide range of gift items at the Holiday Mini-Fair. The Fair will be held Saturday December 5th from 10-1 in the meeting room of the Memorial Library. The snow date is December 12th.
Items available include baked goods; 2010 Entertainment books; Chinese books, calendars and CDs; Acton history books; homemade candy; wallets; jewelry; cookbooks; notepaper; tee shirts; Arboretum guides; Christmas ornaments and cards; Arthur Davis giclees; theatre tickets; organic coffee and cocoa; books and a CD by a local choir. There will also be several raffles.
Organizations participating include Acton Chinese Language School; Acton Garden Club; Acton Historical Society; Acton Memorial Library Foundation; Contemporary Arts International Inc.; the Council on Aging; English at Large; Federation for Children with Special Needs; First Parish Church of Stow; Friends of the Acton Arboretum/Acton Land Stewards; Friends of the Acton Libraries; Girl Scout Troop 72001; Infancy to Independence; Iron Work Farm; Labrador Retriever Rescue; Minuteman Senior Services; Open Door Theater; PIP; We Can Row and West Acton Baptist Church.
The Mini-Fair is a wonderful opportunity for people to do holiday shopping among friends and find unique local gifts while supporting organizations that are part of the greater Acton community."
