03.18.10: Find Value In An Apprasial Night

From The Friends of the Dover Town Library in Dover:

"EVER WONDER WHAT YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S SILVER IS WORTH?
Wednesday, April 14th 7:00-9:00 pm
Dover Town Library Community Room

This fundraising event allows you to learn the value of your antiques, when they were made and where they came from.

Vice President and Senior Appraiser Stuart Whitehurst from, Skinner, Inc., one of the nation’s leading auction houses for antiques and fine art and the only major auction house headquartered in New England, will entertain and educate you and your guests in the same fashion as the very popular PBS series.

All appraisals are conducted in a classroom setting, so all attendees learn about their own item and everyone else’s as well. Attendees are asked to omit coins, stamps, jewelry and musical instruments. No more than 50 items will be appraised in this two hour session on a first-come, first-served basis for a total of $25.00 per item. Limit of up to three items per person, please.

This fundraising event is sponsored by the Friends of Dover Town Library and will be held at the Dover Town Library on April 14th from 7 – 9 p.m. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 508-785-8113 X5."
