"Friends of the Library Annual Book and Bake Sale November 5th and 6th, 2010.
The Friends of the Library Book and Bake Sale will be held on Friday November 5th and Saturday November 6th. The hours on Friday November 5th will be from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday November 6th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost of joining the Friends of the Library is $10.00 for an individual and $15.00 for a family.
We are pleased to announce that members of the Friends of the Library now may join the Stoneham Credit Union. The Stoneham Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union is a Federally charted, full service credit union, serving members since 1963. They offer a full range of financial services and are committed to meeting and fulfilling the financial expectations of members. Applications to join the Credit Union and the Friends of the Library are available in the library and at the Credit Union.
The Friends of the Stoneham Public Library is a volunteer, non-profit organization that supports and advocates for the Stoneham Public Library. The Friends give financial assistance to fund the continuing improvement of library facilities and programs. Activities of the Friends include organizing a yearly book sale, providing museum passes and encouraging gifts and memorials from the community
Membership in The Friends is open to all. To become a member of The Friends of Stoneham Public Library, please call May Forkin, Assistant Director and Liason to the Friends at (781) 438-1324. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month in the library. You can also indicate your wish to support The Friends, but choose not to be active at this time."
