"We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, November 7 from 5 – 7 p.m. for A-tisket, a-tasket, A-Celebrity Basket, the Library’s fundraising gala to fund Sunday hours for 2010. Hundreds of Winchester residents visit the Library on Sundays, and each Sunday opening requires $1000 of private funding. This year’s gala will include wine and champagne, hors d’oeuvres, and live music by It Don’t Mean a Thing. You will also have the opportunity to bid on baskets sponsored by Winchester celebrities. Tickets are $75 per person. Pick up an invitation in the library or call the office at (781) 721-7177 to reserve your space."
